Attendee Questions

Southern Makers is an event that celebrates the best in creativity and design with artists that live and work in the south. The event activities, workshops, demonstrations and maker bazaar explore and center on taking southern traditions in architecture, food, fine art, fashion and design and applying them in a modern sustainable world. We hope that visitors will learn a little something about why the south is a unique and creative place to live, discover and visit.

Southern Makers is proud to announce that the 2017 event will be held at Historic Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL.

Save the date! The fifth annual Southern Makers event is taking place on Saturday, August 12th from 12pm to 5pm and Sunday, August 13th from 12pm to 4pm in Birmingham, AL.

Applications for Southern Makers’ event in 2017 are currently closed.
